MarksNelson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). We are also a member of its Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.

The AICPA is the largest association representing the accounting profession in the world. The AICPA provides educational guidance, develops and grades the Uniform CPA Examination, and enforces compliance within the profession. 

The AICPA requires that active members must participate in an external peer review triennially to review its system of audit quality control for nonpublic companies.

Anders Minkler Huber & Helm LLP issued a report for MarksNelson in its most recent external peer review on November 30, 2021. In that report MarksNelson received a rating of pass for the year ending June 30, 2021. Under the AICPA’s Peer Review Standards, firms may receive a rating of pass, pass with deficiency(ies), or fail.
